Sunny Awesomeness

The weather down here is gorgeous! I'm talking 60 degrees of sunny awesomeness! I'm sure that we're in for another batch or two of winter storms, being as its February, but I'm definitely going to get my tank tops ready, just in case! It was so nice today that I even summoned up enough courage to take both of my dogs as well as my roommates dog on a walk. Let me help you understand why this was such a feat. First, all 3 dogs are only about a year old. Second, they weigh a total of 160 pounds, which is more than I weigh. It was like trying to wrangle three overweight hyperactive 7 year-olds in an arcade/candy store/amusement park. Intense! I think it was good, though. They've been at each others throats a lot lately and I think that walking thing will help. Wish me luck!

Also, I guess I'm to the point where neck surgery is just a phone call away. Interesting. I went to the Doc last week because my pain is really coming back and I've had this nasty headache that has literally not gone away for over a month! Ugh! Anyway, he said that he doesn't want to operate on me if he doesn't have to, but that if I call him and say that I can't take it anymore, fix it, he'll do the surgery. I'm not there yet, but I'm definitely getting close. Despite the fact that the anesthesiologist that does my epidurals seems really hesitant to do another one, the surgeon thinks I should get one more. Why not, I guess? I love having an 18 gauge needle shoved in to my spine! That's a weird concept in itself. So that's the plan for now. One more injection and see how it goes. If I do have to have surgery, I think I'll have people sign my neck brace or something tacky like that. I mean, what if it's the only cast-like thing I ever have? I just hope that I don't have to wear it in 100 degree heat and that I can somehow still raft. Just let me dream...

Other than that, just working, going to class, and playing with my dogs. Guess I can't complain too much about life.
